Miss Leesah's Biography

(Lisa Belinda Taylor)

The Filipina pop sensation, Lisa Belinda Taylor p/k/a "Miss Leesah" was born in a small city called Jesup, Georgia, on October 30, in a very special year. Lisa recognized her gift for singing at a very early age listening to the likes of Brittany Spears, Christina Aguilera and often pretending to be Posh (Victoria Beckum) of the ever so popular group, The Spice Girls. At the age of nine, at Richey Elementary School in New Port Richey, Florida, Lisa sang publically for the first time after landing a solo in the song "The Rose". From that time forward, Lisa sang for many different occasions including her high school graduation. Although Lisa, during her years of school was mostly known for her outstanding performances in cheerleading, tennis and volleyball, her love and passion for singing was still very much at the forefront of her dreams. Upon completing high school, Lisa, under the influence of her mother, visited a local recording studio owned by Martin Luther Wardlaw who was not only a very close friend of her step father, but also a national gospel recording artist and music producer. Lisa's soft sensational voice and startling performance in the recording studio was unforgettable and soon landed her very first recording contract with Stack That Entertainment, an independent label in Vidalia, Georgia. Lisa is currently attending Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia, studying Psychology, while recording her very first album to be released in March of 2010. Lisa enjoys spending time with her mother (Jessie Taylor) and one sister (Blair Taylor), and eating chocolate off of a wooden spoon. Although she plans to finish college, Lisa's ultimate goal is to sing and travel the world and give back to the Philippines, her native country.
